Tyler Willenbrink, MD, FAAD
Tyler Willenbrink, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. He graduated summa cum laude from the South Carolina Honors College with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, where he was salutatorian and elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Willenbrink completed his dermatology residency at the University of Texas at Austin, Dell Medical School, where he served as Chief Resident. He then went on to complete his fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology, and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under the direction of Drs. John Zitelli and David Brodland at the Zitelli & Brodland Skin Cancer Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, regarded as one of the best Mohs fellowships in the world.
Dr. Willenbrink has co-authored a multitude of research publications in top medical journals and has presented at both national and international academic meetings on a variety of topics related to Mohs surgery and cutaneous oncology. He has served on committees in national dermatologic organizations. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
